19 July 2007 - MOS Committee announces a change to show plans - for practical reasons the production of The Witches of Eastwick is now moved to May 2009; in May 2008 we will be performing Fiddler on the Roof at the Desborough Suite, Maidenhead. 24 June 2007 - Rosemary and Derek Roberts receive a Commendation at the NODA London Region AGM for their design of the show programme for The Card. Congratulations from all at MOS!

19 June 2007 - All the principal roles in Anything Goes are now cast, following tonight's recall auditions.  See the Anything Goes page for details.

10 June 2007 - Residents of Wargrave village enjoy a double bill of Katie Roberts, a virtuoso musician and craftsman with the harp, playing her own-designed and -built triple stringed (fully chromatic)  harp in a superbly diverse range of pieces; followed by MOS presenting a shortened concert version of The Pirates of Penzance. Thanks to David Hazeldine and all the cast members who were able to turn out and give Wargrave a good taste of what we can do.

10 June 2007 - News arrives from NODA London Region that our production of The Pirates of Penzance has been nominated by our NODA Rep for an award (Best Gilbert and Sullivan Production). We await the NODA report on the show with baited breath!

Whether we are successful in achieving the award or not, to be nominated is a great honour and congratulations go to Kay Lord, David Hazeldine and all involved. The awards will be announced at NODA London Region's AGM on 24th June.

6 June 2007 - congratulations go to Rosemary and Derek Roberts for the nomination for a NODA regional award for the programme design for "The Card".

20 May 2007 - The Pirates of Penzance finishes its run at Maidenhead Town Hall to great audience approval. The Maidenhead Advertiser commerts: "Drama, pace, humour, pathos along with wonderful musical performances from all concerned made for a totally entertaining evening". (for full review, click here)

1 May 2007 - MOS previews its November 2007 show, Anything Goes. Descriptions of the story and characters, plus all the audition pieces are available here. Auditions are scheduled for 14 June, 7.45 p.m. Village Hall, Taplow.

16 January 2007 - Casting of the Pirates of Penzance is complete. Thanks go to all who took part in the auditions - and very competitive they were, the audition panel reporting a difficult set of choices for every part. The cast list can be seen on the main "Pirates" page.

30 November 2006 - MOS announces The Witches of Eastwick as its choice for Spring 2008. An exciting contemporary show, this was another Cameron Mackintosh success in the West End, recently released for amateur performance.
