Ruddigore

Our autumn 2026 show will be Gilbert & Sullivan’s Ruddigore, from  12th to 14th November, at Bourne End Community Centre, Wakeman Road, Bourne End Buckinghamshire SL8 5SX.

This gothic comic opera parodies the conventions of the popular gothic culture of the time – from operas such as Marschner’s The Vampyr to popular melodramas of the day.

It’s filled with fantastic tunes, spooky ghosts, annoying bridesmaids, saucy sailors, bad baronets and feisty dames!

We’re delighted to welcome back the production team of Lucy Seymour as director and David Batsman as music director, who produced The Sorcerer in 2023 and HMS Pinafore in 2022.
