Maidenhead Operatic Society (MOS) is a friendly group of singers actors and dancers. We produce two shows each year, which could be a classic or contemporary musical, an operetta as well as Gilbert & Sullivan operas. We perform at several local venues including Norden Farm Centre for the Arts and Bourne End Community Centre.
We rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Taplow Village Centre, along with the occasional Sunday rehearsal.
We are affiliated to NODA and are a member of Maidenhead Theatre Council and Maidenhead Arts Council. MOS is a registered charity no: 803367. We regularly perform Opera, Operetta and Musicals in Maidenhead. Recent shows have included Sweeney Todd, The Producers, The Sorcerer and HMS Pinafore.

There are a number of social/fund-raising events each year, most of them arranged under our “Fun for a Fiver” banner. These events give us an opportunity to socialise with each other and our families and friends, and also raise much needed funds. Our regular social events include Quiz Evenings, Summer Bar-B-Q and Games Evenings.
